About Nanomolecular Sealers

What are “True-Nano” Nanomolecular Sealers?

The accepted scientific definition of the term “nano-molecular” is any material with atomic/molecular level unit dimensions ranging from one nanometer (nM) to 100 nM [1 nM = 1 Billionth of a Meter; or approximately 1/80,000 the diameter of a human hair].

CCSI products comply to this scientific standard

By penetrating to the true, nano-molecular level true nanomolecular products initiate reactions with existing atoms and molecules located within the concrete as well as on the substrate surface, creating new, molecularly determined structures with specific desirable and positive characteristics.

NanoTechCS Molecular Infusion Coating

CCSI's sealant formulation is specifically designed to penetrate the surface of concrete which, after proper curing, provides benefits such as enhanced corrosion resistance, permeation and increased hydrophobicity.

The sealant formulation is tailored to allow the concrete to be resistant to acid , caustic, solvent and at the same time becomes more abrasion resistant. Because the CCSI solution is infused into the concrete it will not separate, delaminate or contaminate.

Concrete: the backbone
of our country’s infrastructure

Concrete as a substrate has long been the preferred material for construction of floors, pavement, basins, trenches sumps and secondary containment structures in industry. Concrete is the backbone of our country’s infrastructure. Concrete’s relative low cost, ease of application and relative long term service life compared to other materials has long been known.

The downside of using concrete is that the micro structure of concrete allows the permeation of water and corrosive solutions that will cause premature failing of the concrete surface. Worse yet concrete will allow infiltration of corrosives to the metal reinforcement (Rebar) causing complete failure of the structure. Until now.

Our exclusive process relates to an application protocol which when applied properly to cured or green concrete (fresh poured concrete) will improve resistance to degradation caused by weather, chemicals and other corrosive elements. The process will have the end result of providing a protective coating to the surface of the concrete substrate which provides a barrier layer to protect the concrete from corrosive hazards.

Nanomolecular Applications:

Nanomolecular Benefits:

  • Corrosion Protection of Concrete

  • Secondary containment for oils and chemicals around tank farms and process areas

  • Chemical resistant top coat for Grind and Polish floors

  • Provides a non porous surface to prevent microbial growth and biofilm

  • Tile and grout lines can be made resistant to chemical and microbial penetration.

  • Used on Marble, stone work, Terrazzo, or polymer floors for enhanced UV and chemical exposure protection.

  • Protection of concrete bridge decks bypreventing chloride permeation by a factor of 3.5 times greater than bare concrete

  • Compatible with stained concrete or colored aggregate for unlimited architectural features

NanoTechCS Floors

  • Will increase permeation resistance of concrete which prevents salt diffusion, corrosion of rebar, eliminates efflorescence and ASR thus allowing concrete to last longer. Meets containment regulations of 10-7 cm/sec hydraulic transfer rate

  • Nanomolecular sealer is hydrophobic and will repel water and other chemicals

  • Reduced freeze/ thaw damage

  • Nanomolecular sealers will greatly reduce staining from oils and chemicals

  • UV resistant for maximum weathering protection, and will not fade chalk or degrade in sunlight

  • Can be buffed to provide high gloss attractive finish

  • Provides a Radon barrier

  • Nanomolecular sealants form a barrier that reflects light, especially infrared (IR), and reduces the absorption of heat into concrete. Save Electricity by reducing lighting requirement
  • Anti-Graffiti barrier
