MicroSorb®
SC (Super Concentrate)
Microbes
and either bentonite clay or cornstarch carrier for wastewater treatment,
spill control or to clean surfaces saturated with oils, grease or other
hydrocarbon based compounds. Average microbe content is ninety (90) billion
per gram.
HOW
IT WORKS
MicroSorb®
SC consists of billions of hydrocarbon digesting microbes that work to
break down a wide range of petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated compounds,
and animal and vegetable wastes (fats, oils and grease). The microbes
convert these materials to water, carbon dioxide and soluble beneficial
fatty acids. Either broadcast upon a surface or mixed in water where they
become active and begin the break down of these waste at an elemental
level.
APPLICATIONS
MicroSorb®
SC can:
- Treat
water, soils, surfaces contaminated with oils, greases or other hydrocarbons.
- Breaks
down grease formations such as those found in lift stations, commercial
grease traps.
- Clean
pipes, tanks, pumps and other equipment used in handling or transferring
hydrocarbons or water with entrained hydrocarbons.
- Enhance
the performance of oily water separators.
- Reduce
BOD levels of influents upstream of POTW facilities.
- Provide
initial treatment at open contaminated trenches, pits, or excavations
